“Fakenham Area Partnership aims to encourage local people, groups and organisations to work together for the benefit of the whole community. Through consultation and mutual support we aim to promote and improve community, economic and environmental sustainability.”

We are currently involved with several on-going projects including Fakenham in Bloom, Tourist Information Point, Edmondsons' Acres, Xmas Lights, the Speedwatch programme and the Community Project fund.  We are also campaigining for support for a swimming pool as well as a resource centre in Fakenham and have just set up the Fakenham Community Bank, a branch of the Norfolk Credit Union,  which operates from the FAP desk in the Connect building.
