A community interest company

The event was very well supported in every respect.

The fairly extended fund raising campaign was widely and generously supported by Town Council, local businesses including many industrial estate companies and the community groups such as Kick Start. We're particularly grateful to the Kings & Barnham's team for the sparkle, John Lingwood for the whizz and bangs at 5pm and all the FAP members and friends who helped run the day and rattled the collection tins. The crowds came out much earlier this year to enjoy the entertainment provided by High School drama group, Jay Hil and her Poi display, Josh and Sean on sound and a fun hour with the Dick Hutchinson team from Radio North Norfolk right up to countdown. The team judged it a great success with perhaps just one disappointment when the new lights in Bridge Street refused to co-operate, on the night. Apparently the display we have now is using about one fifth the power of displays in previous years. So the plan for 2010 is to replace more of the filament lamp stock as well as extend the display further down the three main streets.
