With additional funding, allocated by the North Norfolk Community Partnership, the Fakenham partnership has managed to acquire just over 5 acres of land called Edmondson’s Acres on the Fakenham and Hempton parish border. It is currently working with several partners including Wensum Valley Trust and DEFRA whose ‘countryside and environment’ expertise will help produce plans for the future management of the site and an action plan to explore all possibilities to maximise community use and benefit from the amenity.
